Gary B. Homsey

Gary B. HomseyGary B. Homsey is a native born Oklahoman. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University in 1971 and his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1974. Mr. Homsey was admitted to the bar in 1974 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit, U.S. District Court and the Northern, Eastern and Western District Courts of Oklahoma.

Professional ethics are very important to Mr. Homsey and are reflected in his many years of active service on various fee grievance and ethics committees. His respect among colleagues and legislators is such that the punitive damages statute he co-drafted was signed into law by the governor in 1997. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, American Bar Association, American and Oklahoma Associations for Justice, National Academy of Barristers, American Judicature Society and the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice Foundation.

In addition to his numerous professional affiliations and activities, Mr. Homsey has been happily married for 38 years. Mr. Homsey and his wife have three children and two grandchildren. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Homsey is a member of the Bishop’s Council of Oklahoma City University, which is dedicated to the preservation and contributions to sustain the Oklahoma City University School of Law. As a member of the Appleseed Foundation, Mr. Homsey and its prestigious members are responsible for the recent enactment of the anti-bullying statutes.

Jeffrey M. Cooper

Jeffrey M. Cooper

Jeffrey M. Cooper was born in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. He obtained his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1994. While in law school he received the Jurisprudence Award for legal writing and research. Mr. Cooper was admitted to the bar in 1994 to practice law before the U.S. District Court and Western District Court of Oklahoma.

Mr. Cooper has been helping injured workers at the Oklahoma Workers Compensation Court since 1992. He is a member and past president of Lawyers for Working Oklahomans. Mr. Cooper works very closely with firefighters all over Oklahoma. In 2009, The Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled that when a firefighter is disabled that it is presumed to have occurred while performing the firefighter’s duties. This ruling has been very helpful to many firefighters that are battling cancer, heart disease or other infectious diseases.

Mr. Cooper has been married for 10 years and has two beautiful children. When he is not practicing law he enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Kevin E. Hill

Kevin E. Hill

Kevin E. Hill was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Hill received his B.B.A. degree from Central State University in 1987. He received his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1992. Mr. Hill has been admitted to the bar since 1992. He is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit, U.S. District Court, and the Northern, Western, and Eastern District Courts of Oklahoma.

Mr. Hill is a partner at Homsey, Cooper, Hill & Carson. Mr. Hill has represented hundreds of Oklahomans in numerous cases from personal injury to wrongful death cases. He recently received a ruling from the Supreme Court stating that the Indian casinos must follow/adhere to the state liquor liability laws.

Mr. Hill has been married for 20 years and has four children. When he is not practicing law, Mr. Hill enjoys playing tennis, golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Joe S. Carson

Joe S. Carson

Joe S. Carson was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 22, 1977. Mr. Carson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and Economics in 1999. Mr. Carson received his Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2002. Mr. Carson is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals Tenth Circuit, the Supreme Court of the Chickasaw Nation and the Northern, Western, and Eastern District Courts of Oklahoma.

Mr. Carson works diligently to help injured Oklahomans. In 2009, Mr. Carson won a million dollar verdict for a soft tissue injury in Canadian County. Not only does Mr. Carson go above and beyond to win each case, he gives his upmost respect and care to each individual or family that has been injured.

Mr. Carson is married and he has two children. He is an avid hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association and Safari Club International.

Ashley Manning

Ashley Manning grew up in Elizabeth City, North Carolina before moving to Conroe, Texas to attend high school.  Mrs. Manning received her undergraduate degree in Criminology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma.  Mrs. Manning also studied Spanish at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. Mrs. Manning went on to receive her Juris Doctorate Degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.  Mrs. Manning is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court, the Western and Eastern District Courts of Oklahoma.

Mrs. Manning has practiced criminal law, family law, and estate planning.  However, as an associate attorney of Homsey, Cooper, Hill & Carson, Mrs. Manning specializes in personal injury cases.

While Mrs. Manning is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their two dogs. Together they enjoy CrossFit, camping, traveling, and going to the lake.  She has participated in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon as well as the Red Bud Classic. Mrs. Manning is also an avid University of Oklahoma football fan.

Anthony D. DeGiusti

 

Anthony D. DeGiusti was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 4, 1949. Mr. DeGiusti graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1971. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court and Western District of Oklahoma.

Mr. DeGiusti has been very successful in helping Homsey, Cooper, Hill & Carson with employment law and wrongful terminations. He taught for Moore Public Schools for 25 years. Mr. DeGiuisti has been the president of the Oklahoma City Federation of Teachers since 1988.

Mr. DeGiusti has been married for 34 years, has three children and two grandchildren. When Mr. DeGiusti is not helping teachers and practicing law, he enjoys writing, golfing and traveling to Italy.
